IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) asked senior financial professionals how their organizations prepare for both disaster risks and the recovery that follows. When asked whether they had published a disaster recovery plan (DRP), respondents stated that:

81%

are concerned about the possibility of a cyberattack.

38%

have a written plan

(69% of firms with more than 500 employees).

26%

are working on one.

26%

don’t have a plan.

10%

said they didn’t know.

For more on the topmost concerns, what items are on organizations’ DRPs, and best DRP practices, see the IMA Pulse blog post.
