Campus Influencers Program Grows

By
August 1, 2021

The IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) Campus Influencers program continues to expand, with 1,070 students attending 77 virtual presentations at more than 173 schools in the past year.

The program’s goal is to increase students’ awareness of the CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) certification, the many benefits of IMA membership, and the wide range of career possibilities in the management accounting and finance profession.

Launched in January 2016 with approximately 40 volunteers, the Campus Influencers program now involves more than 240 volunteers. Several Campus Influencers have shown excellence in their impact on, and commitment to, the program, including four “Superstars” who each made more than six campus visits in 2020:

Marvin Rosen

Michael Lovelace, CMA, CPA, CISA

Bernice Jenkins, CMA, CPA

Royce Hix, CMA, CSCA

In addition, the following Campus Influencers made at least two campus visits:

Michael P. Schmitt, CMA, CSCA

Ashley Gibson, CMA, CSCA, CPA

Dan Goldzband, CMA

Brian Hall, CMA, CPA

Claude-Helene McIntyre, CMA

David J. Franz, CMA

Nancy A. Zaworski, CMA

James L. Smith, CPA

James Pike, CMA, CSCA

IMA provides program participants with a scripted presentation, supporting documents, marketing materials, and a step-by-step process for establishing and maintaining relationships with schools. For more information on the program and to volunteer, contact campusinfluencers@imanet.org.
