Survey: When the Boss Leaves

A Robert Half survey of more than 1,000 U.S. professionals employed in office environments and more than 2,200 CFOs found that team productivity suffers when a senior manager role is vacant. The causes of lost productivity cited most by respondents were:
Decreased employee morale or motivation
42% workers
35% CFOs
Increased workloads
24% workers
31% CFOs
Fear about job security or the relationship with a new boss
23% workers
18% CFOs
